Bug Detectors

How Your Freedom And Privacy Are Protected By Bug Detectors It is nearly impossible these days to walk into a public place and not get caught on camera. Banks, museums, small shops and markets all utilize surveillance cameras now for safety purposes. Over the past decade, CCTV surveillance has continued to grow at a significant rate, with no signs of this growth slowing down any time soon. Security cameras are also sometimes used for surveillance in other areas besides public places. You might not be expecting them, but spy cameras might be there to catch you even in some more private areas, such as hotel rooms, showers and changing rooms. These activities are prohibited and illegal, however not everyone follows the rules. Some people will try spying on you, even in areas that are private, without considering your privacy rights. In these situations, a spy bug detector may help you protect yourself against getting caught on a hidden camera without you knowing about it. Why Bug Detectors Are So Helpful First of all, let's try to determine what this kind of detector really is. What a bug detector is is a kind of anti surveillance device used for capturing different spying gadgets within the area. There are bug detectors available in many different functions, sizes and shapes. You can use small bug detectors for tracking audio bugs that are near by or inside phones. Larger bug trackers, which are about briefcase size, are able to track audio spy equipment and spy cameras. They have many more functions compared to smaller bug detectors but are also more expensive. Bug detectors that are more technologically advanced enable you to detect whatever bugs are inside a room and also allow you to "steal" the RF signal as well as display whatever the security camera is seeing. If signal encoding isn't used by the CCTV cameras, then these spy cam bug detectors can easily display the view of the wireless camera quite easily for you. How Bug Detectors Work Let's cover briefly how bug tracking tools work. Wireless devices, such as computer networks and spy cameras, work through sending radio signals to various locations. These signals are Radio Frequency and called RF. RF signals are used by devices in order to communicate with receivers. A detectors scans the entire office or room for these radio signals and then whenever it detects anything reports it to you. Frequency Range Bug detectors usually operate in the 3Ghz or 2GHz range. A majority of spy devices operate in that range as well, which means it isn't hard to spot bugs within that range. However, some of the more sophisticated spy device change a bug's frequency to a higher level, such as 6GHz or 4GHz. If this occurs, a regular bug tracking device will be unable to catch any frequencies. However, a more advance device can still do the job. More powerful bug detectors, such as the ones used by police or private investigators, are available and can detect RF signals up to 9GHz. They are more expensive, but they can spot any bug inside a room without any issues. Can Wired CCTV Cameras BE Spotted By Surveillance Bugs A majority of bug detectors can track just about any kind of wireless spy device that utilizes RF signals, whether it is a blue tooth spy cam, a phone bug or wireless mini hidden camera. There are powerful buck track devices able to spot wired CCTV cameras within the area as well. So the new bug trackers eliminate the major problem.
